This Autumn, KEEN Footwear, alongside ethical Himalayan brand Sherpa, have released new footwear in a unique collaboration, the Innate LTD project.
Values are woven into the soul of this scheme, but in sum fifteen Euros from the sale of every pair of these stunning travel boots will be donated to the charity Room to Read®, an organisation that seeks to transform the lives of millions of children in developing countries by focusing on literacy and gender equality in education.
With funds allocated to Room to Read’s literacy program in the Himalayan region and the Tarai flatlands, KEEN aspire to help transform the lives of children across Nepal by contributing to be a catalyst for change in the educational landscape in this Country.
The proceeds of the sale of approximately three pairs of KEEN Innate x Sherpa Adventure Gear shoes will enable one child to read and write for a year and the sales of twenty-five pairs will fund a child to be supported through secondary school for an entire year. KEEN and Sherpa Adventure Gear seek to unlock a better future for Nepalese children, with an ultimate goal of teaching 1000 children to read and write for one year.

Room to Read seeks to transform the lives of millions of children in low-income communities by focusing on literacy and gender equality in education. Working in collaboration with local communities, partner organisations and governments, they develop literacy skills and a habit of reading among primary school children, and support girls to complete secondary school with the relevant life skills to succeed in school and beyond.
