Dave Ryding has had a spell of great skiing recently, that has now led him to take the Silver medal in the Oslo section of the Alpine Skiing World Cup, his second Silver in his career.

Ryding had some stiff competition, having to knock out Austria’s Marcel Hirscher in the quarter-finals and then beating the Olympic Champion André Myhrer in the semi-final. Sadly, Ryding lost out on the top spot in the final to another Austrian, Marco Schwarz, who posted his first ever win in the World Cup.

This medal win comes just one month before the Wold Cup Championships in Are, Sweden.

You can see the final run on EuroSport’s Facebook page.

Ryding will be competing again in Zagreb, looking to continue his current form.
